Russian <-> English Slovoed Compact talking dictionary App Reviews

Ive wasted mine - dont waste yours. The picture shows the programm has sound module, in fact majority of the words dont have "mic" picture attached to them and thus cannot be heard. The pronunciation doesnt really sound as a native speaker in some cases. The database of english word is small nad doesnt have some words. Even 5-dollar translators have word "septuagenarian" - this program doesnt have it. ITunes review says "respected company" - well, I really doubt it.

its good and all but they only pronounce things in english if they did it in russian then i would give it a 5 waste to me

What happened to the tables of words declined in Russian? I relied on this heavily. Now I dont really want to use this dictionary again. It is almost pointless. I have a better paperback dictionary and I would rather use it now. I really liked slovoed because it has tables of the Russian verbs conjugated and the nouns declined. What happened?!!? Now I cannot reccommend this dictionary anymore. I have a lot of friends who are learning russian and now I will have to find a new dictionary for them to buy....

I have relied heavily on this dictionary for the past year. Recently there was an update that removed its most important feature, the declinations and conjugations tables! Now it is just an over priced plain dictionary. Do not buy.

I strongly agree with other reviewers. The most recent update removed all the declensions and conjugation tables, making this app pretty useless. It was great before, but not worth it now.

I have rarely found a word in this dictionary (that I dont already know). I see a word in reading some Russian article that i dont know, I look it up, and invariably its not there. Maybe great for beginning Russian speakers but a big fat no-go for anyone who already has some Russian.

Crashes to often, without possibility to open again. Please fix it.

The new release is waaaay faster. It used to take too long to load. Frustrating when you need a word under pressure, right? I love the grammar table for each word. Its so easy to see all the forms each word can have. I use this dictionary all the time. The example sentences are really good too.
